Guy Lachlan
As a committed and lifelong car-nut, it has been my pleasure over the last 12 years and more to nurture and grow Classic Oils into what is now Motor Spirit Ltd. What Fuzz and I wanted to convey with the new name is not just our increasing focus on fuels and the environment, but also the SPIRIT with which we approach everything we do.
I have owned Classic Cars dating from 1914 to 2006 with engines ranging from 322cc to 10,000cc, air-cooled and water-cooled, crash gearboxes, synchros and automatics and aim to test every single product we sell so that I and the team can talk about them from experience.
I love meeting customers and enthusiasts at the shows and events we attend, and hopefully can always answer difficult lubrication and fuel questions, always from a point-of-view of honesty and straightforwardness.

Emily Fraser
For as long as I can remember, vintage cars have been in my life. I can recall being driven to school in the back seat of a pre-war Alvis that is still in the family.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me competing this – and other cars – in one of the VSCCs many events throughout the year. Working at Motor Spirit means I get to stay close to these much loved cars.

Claire Lachlan
I have been immersed in the classic car world since I met my husband and business partner, Guy. We have three grown up children who have inherited the need for speed and the love of engines.
Most of my time is spent bookkeeping either remotely from home or from our Bicester Heritage office. I especially love interacting with our amazing customers.

Austin Lachlan
I have been very lucky to grow up in and around all different sorts of cars and bikes. Having been competing in VSCC driving tests since I was 16, and still racing motorbikes, means that I have had plenty of opportunities to build mechanical knowledge.
Working at Motor Spirit means that I get to continue learning everyday, as well as a unique opportunity to build relationships with customers and suppliers alike.
