Description

Red Line MTL 75W80 GL-4 Gear Oil satisfies the gear oil viscosity requirements of 75W, 80W, and motor oil viscosities of SAE 30, 10W-30, and 5W-30.

Red Line MTL offers quicker shifts and perfect synchronized coefficient of friction, which eliminates notchy shifting, even when cold.  It also provides high performance gear protection and longer synchro life.

MTL is suitable for for GL-1, GL-3, and GL-4 applications, as well as where most special synchromesh fluids are specified.  It’s safe for brass synchros because it lacks the reactive sulphurs found in most GL-5 oils that cause damage.

In modern applications, Red Line MTL is popular for BMW, Honda, Ford Focus, late-model Mini Cooper and all LT77 applications.
